  • The AVR-X4400H is a 9.2-channel design with 200W per channel, able to deliver a powerful, precise and detailed sound from music and movies alike. It has built-in decoding for Dolby Atmos, dts:X and Auro-3D, creating immersive three-dimension cinema experiences with speaker setups up to 5.1.4 or 7.1.2 without the need of separate amplifiers (and up to 7.1.4 with additional 2-channel amplifier).
  • Eight HDMI inputs, including one conveniently positioned on the front panel, feed a video section supporting Full 4K Ultra HD, HDCP 2.2, HDR (High Dynamic Range), BT.2020, Wide Color Gamut and 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, allowing the connection of all the latest devices such as game consoles, Blu-ray players or streaming set-top-boxes. The video section is even ready for Dolby Vision and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) passthrough, and has an advanced video processor to upscale existing lower resolution video to true 4K, complete with analogue to HDMI conversion and Full Rate 4K Scaling. Both AVRs also have three HDMI outputs, enabling them to feed audio and video from a different source to a second zone via HDMI while still supporting dual monitors – for example a TV and a projector – in the main room.

  • For ultimate future-proofness, they will also gain eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) capability via a forthcoming firmware update, enabling it to receive 3D audio formats over a single HDMI cable from TV apps.
