  • Marantz, a world leader in advanced audio technologies, has long set the standard for slimline, room-friendly AV receivers – now, with its new NR1609 and NR1509 models, it adds Alexa voice control to a winning formula, creating high-powered, flexible home entertainment hubs able to slot into almost any space, and even easier to use. Compact the two new models may be, standing just over 10cm tall and thus able to be used even on the smallest shelf or in the tightest TV cabinet, but they pack advanced home cinema and hi-fi facilities, including 4K video compatibility, the latest sound formats and comprehensive music streaming and multiroom capability, thanks to HEOS integration.
  • And HEOS opens up the new receivers to the world of voice control: simply by adding the HEOS skill to any Alexa device, from the entry-level Echo Dot upwards, it’s possible to use voice commands for hands-free control of the receivers, from turning them on and off to selecting inputs, adjusting the volume and more.

  • The highly affordable NR1509 provides a complete home cinema and music streaming solution for those who don’t need Dolby Atmos/DTS:X capability, but still want a compact, sleek hub for their entire home entertainment system. A 5.2-channel receiver, complete with Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio capability, it has five 85W channels of Marantz amplification, and six HDMI inputs, including one on the front panel, with full 4K video futureproofing.
