  • This cable is designed to have very low resistance per metre with its 4mm²
  • cross sectional area and is easy to terminate due to its traditional shot-gun
  • geometry and soft easy tear PVC outer jacket. It features QED X-Tube™
  • technology which obviates the skin effect (a plague of large cross-sectional
  • area cables) by removing the centre of the conductor and placing it at the
  • periphery of the electric field (acting towards the center) which would
  • otherwise create a larger self-inductance. X-Tube™ with polycore technology exhibits much lower self-inductance and is therefore less affected by this problem. The polycore technology reduces loop inductance to levels only achievable using more costly and difficult to terminate cables. The result is more high frequency detail, less distortion and greater performance.
