  • Marantz, a world leader in advanced audio technologies, has long set the standard for slimline, room-friendly AV receivers – now, with its new NR1609 and NR1509 models, it adds Alexa voice control to a winning formula, creating high-powered, flexible home entertainment hubs able to slot into almost any space, and even easier to use. Compact the two new models may be, standing just over 10cm tall and thus able to be used even on the smallest shelf or in the tightest TV cabinet, but they pack advanced home cinema and hi-fi facilities, including 4K video compatibility, the latest sound formats and comprehensive music streaming and multiroom capability, thanks to HEOS integration.
  • And HEOS opens up the new receivers to the world of voice control: simply by adding the HEOS skill to any Alexa device, from the entry-level Echo Dot upwards, it’s possible to use voice commands for hands-free control of the receivers, from turning them on and off to selecting inputs, adjusting the volume and more.

  • The slimline NR1609 network AV receiver may be able to fit in almost anywhere, but it packs room-filling performance with all the latest video and audio formats, including futureproof 4K capability and 3D sound from Dolby Atmos and DTS:X/DTS Virtual:X, all backed up with seven 90W channels of Marantz amplification. And for music fans it has not just network music streaming built-in, but also HEOS multiroom integration.
