Personalized Style or Easy Replacement: With the new Design Front Sets, the appearance of Blaupunkt retro radios can be customized to suit the vehicle and personal taste – without having to replace the entire radio. With the retro car radios “Frankfurt Stereo,” “Frankfurt Stereo Classic” and “Frankfurt Stereo MB”, Blaupunkt combines modern audio technology with authentic styling for classic vehicles. The three models were specifically developed for use in numerous classic cars from the 1960s and 1970s. Blaupunkt is now expanding the accessory range for these radios with three matching Design Front Sets. The appearance can now be changed flexibly, or front components can be replaced when required.

One Radio – 3 Designs: The Design Front Sets offer classic car enthusiasts new possibilities for customizing their vehicles. Depending on the set selected, the radio’s front panel and control knobs can be adapted to match the vehicle’s interior, personal taste or a specific style. For example, an existing “Frankfurt Stereo” radio can be given a different front design without having to replace the entire unit. This allows the radio’s appearance to blend harmoniously into different dashboards and vehicle concepts – from a more understated classic look to a distinctive chrome finish. At the same time, the Design Front Sets are suitable as a replacement for damaged or worn front components. Instead of replacing a fully functional radio, the relevant external components can simply be renewed. This provides a practical and sustainable way to preserve the radio’s appearance for years to come.

Complete Set for Conversion: The Design Front Sets are comprehensive conversion kits and include all the essential components required for the respective front conversion. The scope of delivery includes, among other things, mounting frames, spacer rings, outer and inner front panels, front and rear control knobs, mounting nuts, retaining plates and washers. In addition, disassembly tools, a mounting key and a cleaning cloth are included. This provides a complete set of components tailored to the respective design for converting the radio’s front. The three variants are based on the characteristic design elements of the “Frankfurt Stereo” family, allowing the appearance of the radio front to be individually customized without having to compromise on the modern technology of the existing radio.
