INFINITE A1000

The Infinite A1000 power amplifier is a Class D model using a DSP capable of handling large amounts of data simultaneously. The Infinite A1000 is designed to power one or more Infinite S12 subwoofers.

Designed for home cinema and all passive subwoofers, the Infinite A1000 amp can deliver up to 1000 watts under 4 ohms. This mono class D amp is equipped with several types of inputs: RCA, XLR and high level terminals, in order to operate in all possible home cinema or hi-fi configurations.

The Infinite A1000 power amp has a low-pass filter adjustable from 40 to 200 Hz. The user can even choose from several attenuation slopes, from -12 to -48 dB per octave, in 6 dB increments. In addition, seven EQ settings are predefined to tailor the sound to the user's taste. In addition, a 9-frequency equalizer from 20 Hz to 125 Hz is available with an amplitude of -6 to +3 dB. The electrical phase is adjustable from 0 to 315° in 45° increments. Finally, the subsonic high-pass filter can be set to 20 or 40 Hz to limit the excursion of the diaphragm of the associated subwoofer(s).

The Infinite A1000 power amp also features an LFE mode, in which only the subsonic filter operates. This mode allows the high cutoff frequency to be controlled by a home theater amplifier.
