This power bar has two groups of sockets: Group 1 is directly and permanently connected to the mains supply. It is made for power amplifiers or other power-hungry devices that should not be disconnected from the mains. Group 2 can be separated from the mains supply using a switch. The additional mains filter makes this group especially suitable for devices such as CD players, pre-amps and other precision electronics.
