The active noise reduction in combination with the tight-fitting ear pads isolate you from disturbing ambient noise. Airplane engines, voices from office colleagues, the din on the underground, are no longer a problem when you activate noise reduction with the simple press of a button. The integrated digital technology in SUPRA NiTRO-X filters out noise and lets you enjoy your music, podcast, film or audio conversation in isolation, wherever you happen to be. The feedback function facilitates continuous communication with your surroundings at voice level, so that you do not miss important announcements at an airport, train station etc.

In NiTRO-X we use hybrid technology to handle the active noise cancellation. There are a total of 4 microphones that are placed both on the inside and outside of the headphone covers. The external microphones filter out most of the disturbing ambient noise on the outside, while the microphones on the inside remove the lower frequencies before reaching the listener’s ears.

With the listening function activated (Transparency mode), you can easily communicate with your surroundings without having to take off your headphones. The function is activated with a simple push of a button and it is a much appreciated function by business travelers and office staff.
